Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting (Conversion Team)

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Associate (SSP) to join the Conversion team for Client Activation (Fund/Client Accounting) in Wrocław.

This is a high-impact role focused on fund onboarding and client activation, where you will take ownership of key workstreams and play an important role in ensuring successful and controlled fund onboardings.

You will gain exposure from simple to complex fund structures, global clients, and cross-functional operations, while gradually building the expertise and confidence to take on broader responsibilities within the organization.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Support assigned fund conversion and onboarding activities to ensure successful migration execution.
  • Review and validate conversion event readiness, including static data mapping, fund setup verification, and Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account analysis.
  • Write clear, testable requirements for data mapping and reconciliation support.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support conversion activities, address queries, and ensure timely completion of project milestones. 
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle. 
  • Monitor assigned conversion tasks, identify risks and issue, and escalate concerns to management as appropriate. 
  • Support project tracking and reporting activities by maintaining accurate documentation and providing regular status updates. 
  • Adhere to established controls, policies, and procedures to maintain a strong risk and control environment. 
  • Assist in training and supporting new team members by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices. 
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation, contributing to initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. 
  • Participate in post-conversion reviews and support the implementation of lessons learned and process improvements.

 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting/finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting or financial services.
  • Good understanding of financial instruments and fund structures.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex processes and data lineage. Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and must be able to quickly gather and analyze data.

  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with demonstrated experience analysing large datasets.
  • High level of accuracy, accountability, and ability to manage deadlines.
