What You Will Get to Do: 

The Senior Business Analyst – Digital Mobile Application is a senior individual contributor who leads business analysis across our mobile app delivery. Partnering with product owners, engineering, design and business stakeholders, this role owns complex requirements end-to-end and uplifts BA practice across the mobile team. 

  • Lead requirements discovery and analysis for large or complex mobile initiatives, from problem framing through to post-release measurement 

  • Translate business objectives into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and journey maps that guide mobile design, development and testing 

  •  Define mobile requirements  in partnership with security, identity, solution architecture and engineering teams.  

  • Shape and review API integration requirements between mobile apps and back-end services, ensuring contracts align with business and user needs. 

  • Partner with product owners, UX/UI and engineering leads to shape solutions, challenge scope, and ensure decisions are informed by data, user insight and technical feasibility 

  • Support test planning, defect triage and UAT coordination for major mobile releases 

  • Use mobile data and analytics (usage, funnel, crash, performance) to inform prioritisation and measure release impact 

  • Understand and meet the compliance obligations of the role, and raise any risk or compliance concerns to management 

 

What You Will Bring:  

• Tertiary qualification in business, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience 

• 6+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record delivering complex digital or mobile initiatives 

• Demonstrated experience leading BA work on mobile programs across iOS and Android (native and/or cross-platform) 

• Working knowledge of mobile privacy, security and accessibility considerations, and how they shape requirements and design 

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems and drive them to a clear solution 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and senior non-technical stakeholders 

• Financial services, wealth, superannuation or digital experience is highly desirable 

• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and the Microsoft Office suite
