We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Operations Associate to support the onboarding, validation, and management of client data into enterprise platforms. The role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely, and complete data delivery for investment portfolios across asset classes such as Real Estate and Private Credit.
The candidate will work closely with implementation, data quality, technology, and client-facing stakeholders to extract, map, validate, and maintain fund and portfolio-level data while supporting strong documentation and audit trail practices.

What you will be responsible for:
As a Fund Accounting Associate – Data Operations, you will:
- Data Onboarding & Processing
- Extract and upload data from client documents, including Schedule of Investments (SOI), valuation reports, leases, loan data, and related fund documents.
- Map source data fields to system templates and enterprise platform requirements.
- Support onboarding of new funds, portfolios, and assets across relevant client structures.
- Data Quality & Validation
- Perform validation checks for completeness, accuracy, and consistency of data.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in datasets.
- Maintain an audit trail of changes, validations, and source references.
- Document Analysis & Data Extraction
- Review fund documents, valuation reports, lease agreements, and loan-level data documents.
- Capture required fields with source references, including page and label mapping where applicable.
- Highlight missing, derived, or calculated data points for review and confirmation.
- Issue Tracking & Resolution
- Log data issues and follow up with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track re solution status and support closure within agreed timelines.
- Reporting & Deliverables
- Prepare weekly and monthly data reports, extracts, and onboarding status updates.
- Support dashboard inputs using Power BI-ready data structures.
- Provide updates on onboarding progress, data quality metrics, and issue status.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams such as Implementation, Data QA, and Technology.
- Communicate with external stakeholders for data clarifications and follow-ups.
- Support client calls by providing data updates and issue summaries.
- Process Adherence & Improvement
- Follow defined SOPs for data onboarding, validation, and quality control.
- Suggest improvements for efficiency, automation, and standardization.
- Support post-implementation reviews and documentation updates.

- Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial data concepts.
- Understanding financial data across Real Estate and/or Private Credit is preferred.
- Familiarity with Schedule of Investments (SOI), valuation reports, leases, and loan-level data is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including data cleaning, validation, and basic formulas.
- Understanding data structures, templates, and mapping between source documents and system fields.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
