As a Fund Servicing Specialist IV within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in our fund servicing operations, working closely with various teams, external vendors, and consultants. You will be expected to apply your knowledge of fund servicing policies and procedures to solve problems and contribute to the improvement of existing processes. Your strong listening and questioning skills will be crucial in understanding and addressing the needs of our clients. Your work will have a significant impact on our team and contribute to the overall success of our department.
Job responsibilities
- Process authorized client instructions including subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, management fees, and other Managed Fund transactions.
- Accurately post transactions to accounting and custody platforms within established service level agreements.
- Support processing activities across unlisted investments, private equity funds, alternative investments, hedge funds, and cash instruments.
- Monitor operational workflows, work queues, and shared mailboxes to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Maintain processing evidence, daily checklists, holdover logs, and operational status reporting.
- Experience in Fund Accounting, Custody Operations, Asset Servicing, Fund Administration, or Investment Operations.
- Knowledge of Managed Funds, Unit Trusts, Alternative Investments, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Custodian Operations.
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, transaction processing, cash management, and securities operations.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial market products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience supporting unlisted investments, alternative investments, or private markets operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
- Understanding of tax-related operational processes and end-of-financial-year reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with accounting, custody, workflow management, or reconciliation platforms.
- Experience driving process improvement, operational efficiency, or automation initiatives.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting, audit support, and control frameworks.
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand Managed Funds environments is advantageous.
