What does a successful SAP BTP Integration Suite Specialist do at Fiserv?

A successful SAP BTP Integration Suite Specialist at Fiserv designs, develops, and supports enterprise integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite for large-scale SAP and non-SAP landscapes. This individual works closely with business, functional, technical, application, infrastructure, and third-party stakeholders to translate integration requirements into scalable, secure, and reusable solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP RISE, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Azure, Snowflake, and other enterprise applications.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, and CPI.
• Develop and maintain integration flows, APIs, event-driven integrations, and file-based interfaces.
• Implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, OData Services, IDocs, RFC/BAPI, SFTP/File Adapters, HTTPS, and Message Queues.
• Develop complex mappings using graphical mapping, XSLT, XPath, and Groovy scripting.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
• Define integration patterns, standards, and reusable frameworks for enterprise integration scenarios.
• Participate in integration architecture reviews and design workshops.
• Support enterprise initiatives involving SAP S/4HANA, SAP RISE, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Azure, Snowflake, and third-party applications.
• Configure and support SAP Integration Suite capabilities including Cloud Integration, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.
• Assist with role assignments, service provisioning, runtime management, and environment configurations.
• Lead and execute migration of interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Assess existing integrations and recommend modernization strategies.
• Develop migration plans, perform testing, and support production deployments.
• Monitor interface health, Message Processing Logs, API traffic, and integration performance.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and performance issues and implement proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
• Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and business users for issue resolution.

What you will need to have:

• 5+ years of overall SAP integration / enterprise integration experience.
• 3+ years of SAP Integration experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI.
• Experience implementing enterprise integration solutions in large-scale environments.
• Experience with SAP PI/PO migration projects, including interface assessment, migration planning, testing, and production deployment support.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite capabilities such as Cloud Integration / CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.
• Strong working knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, ALE, RFC/BAPI, SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, and Message Queue based integrations.
• Experience with XML, JSON, XSD, graphical mapping, XSLT, XPath, and Groovy scripting.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, certificates, JWT authentication, and secure integration patterns.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration failures, interface health, Message Processing Logs, and API traffic.

What would be great to have:

• SAP PI/PO production support and migration experience.
• SAP Cloud Connector experience.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP RISE, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Azure, Snowflake, and third-party application integrations.
• Ability to define reusable integration frameworks, standards, and modernization recommendations.
• Experience participating in integration architecture reviews and design workshops.
• Experience with runtime management, service provisioning, environment configuration, and role assignment support.
• Experience implementing proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms for integrations.
