Director, Specialist Sales – Transfer Solutions (Philippines)

Mastercard's Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) business is focused on transforming how businesses and consumers move money. Within CNPF, Transfer Solutions is a key component of Mastercard's strategy to be a global leader in money movement and real-time payments, enabling the secure delivery of funds across domestic and cross-border payment flows.

Businesses, financial institutions, fintechs and digital players use Mastercard's Transfer Solutions to support a range of use cases, including remittances, disbursements, business payments and merchant payments. We are seeking a commercially driven sales leader to accelerate the growth of Mastercard Transfer Solutions in the Philippines. Working closely with local, regional and global teams, you will drive market adoption, develop strategic client relationships and lead new business opportunities with banks and financial institutions across the country.


Role

• Lead business development efforts for Mastercard Transfer Solutions in the Philippines, driving adoption of cross-border payment and money movement capabilities.
• Develop and execute a market growth strategy by identifying customer pain points, emerging opportunities and high-value use cases.
• Build and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions and strategic partners to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and maintain a strong sales pipeline, proactively identifying prospects and progressing opportunities through the sales lifecycle.
• Partner closely with Account Management, Product and Customer Delivery teams to bring the right solutions to clients and support successful implementation.
• Lead complex commercial discussions, contract negotiations and business case development with senior client stakeholders.
• Drive revenue growth and commercial performance across your portfolio while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes.
• Monitor market developments, competitive activity and industry trends to identify new opportunities and inform business strategy.
• Represent Mastercard as a trusted advisor in the evolving cross-border payments and money movement landscape.
• Collaborate with regional and global colleagues to help shape future market priorities and solution development.


All About You

• Significant experience in transaction banking, cash management, treasury services, payments or cross-border money movement solutions.
• Proven track record of selling complex solutions to banks, financial institutions or large enterprise clients.
• Strong business development and hunting capabilities, with experience identifying and converting new opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence senior decision-makers in client organisations.
• Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and how financial institutions manage domestic and international money movement.
• Experience managing long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and decision points.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop business cases, negotiate agreements and deliver revenue growth.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to working across multiple teams and functions.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving market where innovation and client engagement are key success factors.
