Data Analytics & ReportingResponsible for accelerating the adoption of AI across People & Culture through the design, deployment, testing, and governance of AI solutions. This role combines traditional data science capabilities with hands-on AI implementation, helping translate business opportunities into scalable AI products, agents, and insights while ensuring compliance with enterprise AI governance requirements.
The successful candidate will partner with business leaders, technology teams, risk stakeholders, and vendors to support the full AI lifecycle, including solution evaluation, experimentation, deployment, validation, monitoring, and ongoing optimization. The role will play a key part in advancing AI capabilities using platforms such as Copilot Studio and other enterprise-approved AI technologies while supporting responsible AI practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled solutions, agents, and analytical capabilities using approved enterprise platforms.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve business processes, decision-making, employee experiences, and operational efficiency.
- Support the onboarding, assessment, and implementation of vendor-provided AI capabilities and services.
- Develop and execute testing, validation, and monitoring approaches for AI solutions to ensure performance and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required to support AI governance, risk, compliance, and approval processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-enabled solutions and actionable outcomes.
- Support experimentation and rapid prototyping of emerging AI capabilities, including generative AI and agent-based solutions.
- Monitor deployed AI solutions and support lifecycle management activities including changes, enhancements, and ongoing governance requirements.
Desired Experience
- Experience applying data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or advanced analytics techniques in a highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, validation, testing, and documentation requirements for large Financial Services organizations.
- Experience working with vendor-provided AI solutions and third-party technology providers.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, Copilot Studio, Microsoft AI technologies, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is an asset.
Salary:
$88,800.00 - $165,600.00Pay Type:
SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
