This is a great opportunity to join a market leading Digital FX Sales desk, to cover great clients and to learn a tremendous amount about eTrading, Sales in a global franchise, product management, FinTech, traditional FX products, but also Custody FX and Payments FX.
About the Role
Citi's FX Sales business provides best-in-class solutions and an unmatched global presence to Financial Institutions and Corporate Clients from trading floors around the world.
As a member of the FX Digital Sales team, you will be responsible for leveraging Citi's electronic pricing, liquidity and products to grow and maintain our relationship and wallet share with Financial Institutions in North America.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with US and Canadian Real Money and Banks FX clients executing electronically with Citi
- Partner closely with Trading, Relationship Management, Voice Sales and FX product to deliver industry leading pricing, liquidity and electronic solutions to clients
- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients' electronic FX execution, providing thought leadership with Citi's eTrading, Quant and Strategy Teams
- Back up the hedge fund and corporate Digital FX Sales teams in NAM and LATAM, providing seamless coverage and continuity of service across both regions
- Track client performance and achieve both market and wallet share goals of the FX business strategy
- Originate meaningful opportunities with new-to-Citi relationships as well as winning new wallets with existing clients
- Take ownership to ensure other key business functions properly onboard and service clients based on your understanding of Citi's clients
- Work closely with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market Risk and Credit Risk to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing role at a financial services organization
- Previous experience managing client relationships with proven track record growing and maintaining eFX wallet through value-added service and commercial skills
- Execution oriented with strong attention to detail
- An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
- Ability to multi-task, manage tight deadlines and take ownership of the overall FX service provided to clients
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses
